Always Trust and Positive Thinking

     Friendship is like a “cocoon”. A friend will always beside his best friend when he sad or happy. That's what happened to Vidi and Afgan friendship. Afgan is a boy who's rich, lazy, naughty but humorous. Vidi is a boy who’s simple, smart, diligen. Afgan is Vidi’s desk mate because their homeroom teacher was moved it. Although firstly they weren’t suitable because they have different character, but eventually they become a best friend. Afgan always kind and nice to Vidi, because Vidi also kind and nice. Vidi often giving a answers and teach Afgan if there is homework. And Afgan also give an entertained to Vidi when he bored or tired. They are complementary.

     The situation was change when Raisa, a new student from Jogja moved and come to the class. Raisa is a very graceful figure and sweet, its make Afgan very interested and started to like her. But every time when Afgan want to more closer, but Raisa not give an expectations. Afgan often see Raisa more close to Vidi. It makes Afgan was annoyed to his friend's. Many demons that whisper to Afgan’s ear to kill Vidi, but some of the angels said to Afgan for more patient and positive thinking. Finally Afgan choose to wait and see the next situation.

One day Afgan talk to Vidi…

"Hey Vid, I often see you with Raisa. Are you has a relationship with her?"

"What? No I’m not. We’re just a friend. Raisa just ask me a hard lesson. Only that and nothing more"

"Emm I doubt it. I think you are more closed with her"

"Oh she is a nice girl. She’s like sharing with me. I'm just giving my advice only”

"Oh are you feels something?  Like a love?

"Haha no, I just a close friend and nothing more"

"Hmm I think it only his reason" Afgan’s grumble.

     Afgan personality was change to Vidi. Afgan stay away to Vidi and started to ignore him. Vidi also told to Raisa that he sad because his friend has changed.

"Raisa, I'm very sad"

"Why? Would you like to share it with me? Just tell the truth and I will give my advice. Trust me"

"I'm sad because my best friend change. He was a bit cool and be far away"

"Hmm he is like this. I didn’t like his personality"

"He's actually nice boy, maybe you not yet see the real him so you still think like that"

"Oh okay. Now you don’t be sad again because before you tell me he was good"

"Um it’s right, but ..."

"Let’s forget it, he will back again, trust me. Now, would you join with me go to canteen?"

"Okay I’m ready…"

     When Vidi and Raisa on the way to canteen, they were met Afgan. Afgan was very angry when see Vidi and Raisa going to the canteen together. Afgan more and more angry with his bes friend. Finally Afgan go away from Vidi, he’s always alone and no one wants be his friend because his arrogant. Vidi was getting a bit annoyed because of Afgan personality, it’s arrogant and aloof. And Vidi be more close and close with Raisa. Vidi feels falling in love to Raisa. And he got a relationship with Raisa after he showing his love.

     After a long time Afgan lost contact with Vidi, Afgan was trying to apologize to him. But when Afgan want to apologize, Afgan saw Vidi and Raisa were together. Afgan was shocked and become emotion, but he tried to calm and be patient. When Afgan approached Vidi, Raisa was shocked and she went away. Afgan then apologized to Vidi, and then Vidi forgive Afgan’s mistake.

     Afgan was very very disappointed when he know that Vidi has a relationship with Raisa, a girls that he love. Afgan stress and began to drunken at night and alone in a room and sometimes speak for himself. And the finally, Afgan’s parent put him in the psychiatric hospital because of mental disorders. His parents did not know if Afgan crazy because of love…

Frank Lampard

  

               One day, the liberian coach was sent to england to learn some techniques of playing soccer. Fabio Capello, england national team’s coach explained it one by one correctly.

               After that, he said “Look at our players, not only have techniques, but also have intelligences.” To prove it, he called one of his players named Frank Lampard. Then he asked him “Who is your mother’s son that is not your sibling?” After he thought for a while, he answered “I am, Frank Lampard.”

               3 days later, after he took some precious lessons, the liberian coach went back to train soccer in his country. That liberian coach wanted to practice the theory from Fabio Capello, so that he called one of his players, then he asked “Who is your mother’s son that is not your sibling?” He thought for a long time. Then he said “I don’t know, coach.”

               The coach was very angry and punished him to push up one hundred times. The player became very tired until he couldn’t move his body. Because he was curious with the answer, he asked “May I know the answer of previous question, coach?” The liberian coach spontaneously and confidently answered “Frank Lampard”.

               When the children enjoyed their activity, suddenly they see a black smoke in the sky, and they also see many people across the river. One of the children scream and said “A fire… a fire.. “ . All the people in that area be panicked and soon go across the river. When they arrived, they surprising because its not a fire but its just a demonstration that burn the tire.

Rizki and Fida make an appointment to meet in a cafe. Rizki come before Fida and she is waiting for Fida. A few minutes later, Fida is coming

Fida  : Oh I want to ask about English task. Where I can link my story?

Narrative Story

Super Ducky

            One day there was a little duck who lives alone in a city, which named Ducky. He had left her mother since childhood. His mother died was killed by the aliens during the war between the aliens and the ducks. Then the mother wants to save her eggs, but she was killed by aliens. The father is very upset with his mother. Ducky when he was a kid, his father was killed by the alien because of reckless revenge.

            Ducky began when the teenager, he felt lonely because they have no family. He envied his friends who can gather with their family. It occurred in his mind for revenge. Finally he put a strategy for vengeance. He asked his friends to kill the aliens. One day he invited his friends to had a meeting and put strategies.

            While in meeting Ducky said, "Do you know that my parents had been killed by the aliens? How cruel it was the aliens. Try you imagine if your parents are victims, how do you feel? How bad aliens kill our ancestors when the war first". The ducks has more spirit from the Ducky’s said. After they talk about the strategy, finally the ducks went home and prepare to kill the aliens.

            The next day, they gather and then went to the headquarters of the aliens. They know if the weakness of the aliens are the duck droppings, so they were collecting all the ducks and put dirt around the base. The smell of the dirt is starting to sting until it snaps into the base. The guards of headquarters began to be affected by the smell of it, and fainted. When the guard began to empty, the ducks began sneaking into the headquarters and then entered the main room contained detonation button headquarters. When Ducky pushed the button, the alarm was immediately sounded and ready to blow up the headquarters. When the aliens wanted to run out, they were blocked by dirt ducks so they stuck together and exploded inside their headquarters. The ducks were safely out of the headquarters and did not participate in the explosion.

            The residents are very pleased to see the young ducks returned safely. They were amazed to see Ducky courage who dared to fight the aliens. Ducky was finally called as Super ducky because his courage was. But behind her joy against aliens, stored sadness when she saw her friends can gather with their family.  It though he had his revenge, but it can’t make his parents back again. The past can not return again, thank sincerely what has happened in our lives...

Meriam Karbit

          Meriam Karbit is a traditional game in Pontianak. It is usually played to make an event more exciting.
