Passive Voice

1. Simple Present Tense
a. Active: She helps you to clean your room
-          Passive: You are helped by her to clean your room
b. Active: I repair his motorcycle
-          Passive: His motorcycle is repaired by me


2. Present Continuous Tense
a. Active: I am finishing my homework
-          Passive: My homework is being finished by me
b. Active: She is drinking medicine
-          Passive: Medicine is being drunk by her


3. Present Perfect Tense
a. Active: You have done your homework
-          Passive: Your homework have been done by you
b. They have sold my magazines
-          Passive: My magazines have been sold by them


4. Present Perfect Continuous Tense
a. Active: Tina has been cooking a beef
-          Passive: A beef has been being cooked by Tina
b. Active: I have been reading a novel
-          Passive: A novel have been being read by me


5. Simple Past Tense
a. Active: I bought a newspaper yesterday
-          Passive: A newspaper was bought by me yesterday
b. Active: We made a pudding last week
-          Passive: A pudding was made by us last week


6. Past Continuous Tense
a. Active: They were playing ping pong when I met them
-          Passive: Ping pong was being played by them when I met them
b. Active: She was singing a song
-          Passive: A song was being sung by her


7. Past Perfect Tense
a. Active: I had met Afgan in mall
-          Passive: Afgan had been met me in mall
b. Active: You had killed the snake
-          The snake had been killed by you


8. Past Perfect Continuous Tense
a. Active: I had been reading a message from him
-          Passive: A message from him had been being read by me
b. Active: Chris had been eating a burger
-          Passive: A burger had been being eaten by Chris


9. Simple Future Tense
a. Active: You will lend a dictionary to me
-          Passive: A dictionary will be lent by you to me
b. Active: I will give a shirt to you
-          Passive: A shirt will be given by me to you


10. Future Continuous Tense
a. Active: Ina will be buying a dress
-          Passive: A dress will be being bought by Ina
b. Active: They will be playing football
-          Passive: Football will be being played by them


11. Future Perfect Tense
a. Active: Dwika will has burned Rizki’ house
-          Passive: Rizki’s house will has been burned by Dwika
b. Active: I will have brought a donut
-          Passive: A donut will have been brought by me


12. Future Perfect Continuous Tense
a. Active: She will has been swimming in pool
-          Passive: In pool will has been being swum by her
b. Active: I will have been writing a letter
-          Passive: A letter will have been being written by me
